Scouts BSA Troop 145 is chartered by St Paul United Methodist Church in Christiansburg, Virginia.

Scouts BSA Troop 145 is a year-round program for young men 11-17 years old that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves.

In our troop young men go places, test themselves, and have one-of-a-kind adventures that can’t be found anywhere else.

Troop 145 meets in the St. Paul United Methodist Church Activity Building on Monday evenings at 7pm.

Every Scout is a member of a Scouts BSA Troop. Troops are divided into Patrols.  Each patrol has around 6 to 12 young men and is led by the Patrol Leader and his assistant. The Troop is led by the Senior Patrol Leader, his assistant, and a staff of other young men such as the Quartermaster, Historian, Webmaster, Chaplain, and others.

The Scoutmaster is the adult in charge of the program, aided by Assistant Scoutmasters, and the Troop Committee, serving in various positions such as Unit Advancement, Training, Fundraising, and Treasurer.

Scouts advance in rank as they learn skills, earn merit badges, and complete service projects.  They must demonstrate that they live by the Scout Law, the Scout Oath, and show good Scout Spirit.  They participate in Troop activities such as campouts, and a week-long summer camp.
