About Our Scoutmaster
Mr. Elliott Petry began serving Troop 145 as the Scoutmaster in August, 2020.
Elliott is passionate about our community and has first hand experience with Scouting programs. He grew up in Emporia, Virginia, but began his Scouting career as a Tiger Cub in Pack 364 in Newport News, VA then moved to Emporia to join Pack 209. He advanced through Webelos and received his Arrow Of Light and crossed over to Troop 209. He progressed through the ranks and eventually earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Elliott is also a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow where he was part of the ceremonies team. He also served as an Assistant Den Leader in Pack 145. He attends St. Paul UMC with his wife, son, and daughter. He is a Math Teacher at Salem High School.
